ESI blew tons of their money trying to process energy from sewer waste, so did REL. The directors of REL (tried to do the same with pig/animal waste) were smarter, they did placements at very high prices and sat on their money up in the Carolina's and did nothing with their technology because it was uneconomic.
TOX is processing industrial wastes and recovering hydrocarbons which is a completely different high value proposition especially if you hold permits to process the stuff in a place like Port Headland and folks like Woodside are planning multi billion developments in the area all involving hydrocarbons. They use thermal desorption (indirect heat) and incineration to treat the stuff which is industry accepted practice around the world. Also have some patents for "bells and whistles" to make desorption work better in a variety of applications, this could give TOX some very decent upside.
