I'm personally going to be buying YMAX soon - this is because: a) I have an overall bearish view on the market b) I value franking credits and income. The strategy is a buy-write strategy so assuming flat or falling markets the additional income that comes from the options premium will enhance returns (at the same time in a fast rising market, I would expect this fund to do worse than the market).
All comes down to my current 1 year view on the market (which is range bound or falling).
