Down in the Clarence, conditions have been miserable due to the weather.
Plenty of freshwater is being flushed out meaning the entrances to creeks and channels will be the best for fishing over the next few days.
If you're after a catch of jew, try fishing the ends of the breakwalls with either hard body lures of live baits.
Casting out Squidgy soft plastics for flathead also worked a treat in the lower reaches with the run-out tide scoring most.
Bream should also be on the bite along the rock walls and try fishing for whiting around the banks of Sleepers and Freeburn Islands.
Setting a few pots should produce a catch of mud crabs throughout the North Arm, Oyster Channel and around Harwood.
Beaches have been quiet with only a few dart along Main Beach and Shark Bay while off the headlands, there's been a few tailor and sea bream landed. There should also be a few jew lurking around.
On the reefs, fishing the local grounds north-east of Woody scored anglers a few squire and tuna.
There's been a few pearlies showing up down around Sandon and kingfish should be landed on the wrecks east of the bar.
