Alan, I thought Andersen just about folded around the globe. Clients going elsewhere and also some of the staff. But the interesting thing here is this - how many Australian companies, who were previously audited by Andersen, are now doing the same as WorldCom - with the directors requesting a real good independent review of the books.
Would be interesting to have a client list of Andersen Australia and which ASX companies they acted as auditors for. Now guys head for the box with all the old annual reports - :<)
