Those GRR pellet and chip shipments to BSL - Port Kembla (last 12 months) seem to less than 10% of BSL's 3.3 million tonnes annually under existing long term contract with BHP as part of BSL demerger in 2002.
Suggest that GRR - BSL could strike an annual off-take of circa 600-700 mt of pellet plus chips to diversify supplier arrangement thus BHP-RIO & FMG (Australian miners) bid for balance. Therefore BSL gets lowest possible freight costs Port Latta to Pt Kembla and two day shipping period for the good quality pellets.
