Anyone with any investing knowledge investing in O&G or mining in the far flung corners of the planet understands that these things do not come without some sort of political, financial or life risks. In the case of the latter it is handy if you can get someone else to be your rep. on the ground. In the case of the investor you do your DD put up your money and hope it does not go belly-up.
I think those of us who post here are well aware of these risks, esp. those of us who have put substantial amounts into this outfit. I certainly would not have done so without investigating the political aspect of the equation, nor without running a check over the company and directors. I have no reason to doubt my ability to measure and weigh the risk and the reward. I doubt if I am alone in this company.
What I do not need is someone who thinks they know more about investing than I telling me to watch out for this or that scalliwag around the next rock, or under that bush. If I can afford to risk my stake that is my choice. If you have an opinion about that say it and then know when to shut-up. I don't wish to hear a scratched record going on and on about the same old story! I heard you twice the first time.
We are about to have our moment in the sun. Hopefully the only sound I will be able to here is the sound a coconut makes when it drops in the lagoon.
