Billion Dollar Project Dynamic Company Australasian Resources Ltd is an ASX listed company currently developing the $2B plus Balmoral South Iron Ore Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. As part of the development of the Balmoral South Iron Ore Project, the company has a strategic alliance with one of China’s largest steelmakers, Shougang Corporation.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of all Heritage/Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure corporate objectives are met to the highest possible standards. Initially, this role will focus on the development of a Heritage Framework and finalisation of all government approvals including adequate handover from external parties to bring these functions in house for the Balmoral South Iron Ore Project.
Ideally you have a relevant degree pertaining to the resources industry and or appropriate diploma/certificate in HSE. Experience in Heritage Management, project approvals and HSE regulations and requirements required for the mining industry and project experience will be highly regarded. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills are also required for a successful outcome in this role. Practiced people management skills and a commitment to a safe working environment are essential.
