Yes, the phrase 'high grade results' now has about as much impact as the parlance of a real estate agent to a prospective home buyer.

The only results I've seen in recent times worth the description have come from DeGrey's and Giant Reefs Mining. Both hold very rich ground indeed with the prospect of significant increases in resources from further drilling.

I don't hold DeGrey's unfortunately but have held GTM for a while now, believing that sooner or later it would receive recognition for the drill grades it keeps announcing e.g. 23m @ 71g /t including 9m @ 151g/t and 21m @ 40g/t etc. Thus far, however, no joy.

DeGrey's rose as one would expect on its good news a few months back but GTM has done absolutely nothing because of its recent capital raising and option overhang (dilution threat). The options expire tomorrow so there may be a glimmer of hope after that, especially with its copper diversification strategy in the wings.

But you're right. The market is treating these announcements with circumspection because of the hyperbole they're dressed in. And that's a shame for those like GTM that are the genuine article.

    R/Gupper
