Traces are just that. Traces.

This is in no way related to the dangers in the United States over their Shale Gas Fraccing process.
There are chemicals used in the drilling process however we do not pour truck loads of water down our holes as done in the U.S.

We have minimal contamination which involve only TRACE ELEMENTS of chemicals spilling during drilling.

I'm sure constant improvements are being made to minimise this in the long term however people have to be careful of the "clever" use of the English language by the media.

"TRACE ELEMENTS" mean Trace elements, not a BUCKET LOAD!!
