Did you note the part of their protest action is about the American gas industry - looks like they'll try anything for sentiment.
A nice article in the Weekend AFR on how the Federal Govt will receive $1 Billion a year and the QLD Govt will receive $300 Million per year from BG alone. I think the farmers and greenies will need more than cardboard placards to sway the NSW Govt.
