I hope that this information may help some of you.

We purchased an Acupressure machine over 20 years ago. It was developed by a South Australian doctor and involved the electrical stimulation of traditional acupuncture points.
(far more sophisticated than those tens machines)

My mother was having problems with sciatica and hip/leg pain which was very debilitating. After numerous teats the Doctor said she had osteo-arthritis and prescribed a range of drugs which really didn't work. In desperation we borrowed a machine and the recovery was amazing. We then purchased a machine and every family member has since purchased their own.

Mum is going on for 78 now. She still lives on her own farm and has a huge garden of over 5 acres with 150 rose bushes and heaps of other plants. She does all the weeding, spraying etc and hand mowing close to the house. We do the larger areas with the ride-on and bring her the 400 bales of mulch she needs each spring. She does most of the mulching herself.

She takes no medications except Somac as she had an ulcer ages ago.

Mum keeps the acupuncture unit on the coffee table and treats the relevant points as required. She does have arthritis in her fingers.

We have let people with carpal tunnel use the machine to ease their pain while waiting for an operation. One person cancelled the Op because the problem was resolved by use of the machine. An extensive instruction booklet comes with the machine showing you how to find the points. There are instructions for use in horses as well.

Currently costs about $325 but easily recouped from what you save from paying for physios, doctors and medications.
