yes - I think similarly - not that it's the greatest ever - but it's different, witty, pithy, fast moving - and sometimes hilarious - yet a touch of sad - and, at times, pathetic. (Some of the characters shady and self indulgent crooks in suits and ties (or wigs!)) - closer to the real lives of those who see themselves in various life circumstances - thinking themselves untouchable, see themselves on self indulgent pedestals - but really having feet of clay.
The Rake character played superbly! As are most others - a comedy of soil interactions gone, invariably wrong - yet has pathos. We give up many other options to watch it!
