I own more FMS shares than Big Kevin, have been a holder since FMD and have been accumulating over the last couple of years. I paid 10c in Sept 08 to convert options I had paid 12c for when at the time of their conversion I could've bought shares for around 6c but I wanted the company to have the money rather than a trader. I also took up shares in the recent capital raising program. I am a believer and a long term holder....but not happy. Over the last couple of years I've sent emails to FMS asking for clarification on certain points but have never received a reply....again not happy. At this point I will not be voting for the proposed split but of course the issue of more info may make me change my mind. I expect that if the split does go ahead we'll also see a consolidation of the current shares.
