Not sure what all of the fuss is about. Keep FMS focused on its core asset and move on all of the rest/rubbish into a new vehicle which is self funded and therefore does not dilute the impact of the iron ore results. Non-core assets would be valued at next to nothing anyway inside FMS.
How many economic diamond discoveries have there been in Oz in recent years anyway? Toughest game in town, just ask the ex KIM guys. Personally I would never invest in a diamond explorer.
FMS will retain a 20% interest. If you're not happy then ask FMS to an in specie distribution of this 20% to all FMS shareholders.
Its a smart corporate move that should have been done some time back.
