i agree with you there and imo theres nothing stopping them keeping a holding but yes they do need to pay people back so they would need to get funds from elsewhere you would think.. still possible yes.

But my thought is with all the legal injunctions/proceeding etc, maybe if they kept some shares, and if the court says you are not the holder give them back then they may be liable for any losses or gains also. ie if the share plummeted or made spectacular gains the court may also say seeing as you controlled these shares and the rightful owners couldn't trade them you are liable for their gains/losses also.

whereas if they sold them all, they would have a better arguement over a simple cash payout figure, they could also use the cash in the short term to make more $ to offset any losses.

i'm not sure, don't currently hold ADY and its just a thought.
