This new appointment leads me to believe that ANZ know full well that they have not performed well in this area.

ANZ today announced the appointment of Mr Nigel Denby to the role of Chief Risk Officer, Asia
Pacific.
Mr Denby has more than 25 years of experience in banking across Asia, the Middle East and South
America. Most recently, he was Regional Head for Risk Management and Credit for Nomura Asia.
Prior to that he spent a large part of his career with HSBC where he held a series of senior roles in
both risk management and in the Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets Division.
This new appointment leads me to believe that ANZ know full well...
