anz cashed up and need to expand

I have just got out of telstra so based on my past performance with them over the past 3 years expect their share price to surge upwards tomorrow. I have switched to St George Bank as I feel that it might become of interest to ANZ as they will need to expand over the next 12 months given such good results and plenty of cash. Any thoughts on my theory.
