folks if things keep heading south at the rate they are we could have all the monolines in bankruptcy before the end of the year
this will mean that 11.6B in ANZ monoline CDS exposure would have to be provisioned very shortly after the monolines are declared dead
these kinds of provisions would see ANZ virtually abandoned by investors
Mr Smith with his millions in wages will have presided over the destruction of virtually all shareholder value
watch the monolines like Ambac and MBIA because if they fail ANZ will get smashed
