Heres my chart on ANZ re positions etc and how important the time dates have been for me and trading out of them
When you have good setups like this you can also do great things with your intraday trading as well. I did the same with BHP a few weeks ago with huge intra day games based on the support where the chart was

The only other bit of advice i use with trading is - that if you are trading charts, after choosing your shares on fundamentals trade the chart and not the emotions of the day. If i ( and others who trade ANZ on charts ) was to listen to consensus re ANZ over the last 2 months i would not have taken these great trades and made diddly squat.

i have tight stops as mentioned but the speed angles points to targets around the gaps mentioned by you.
And like you doing heaps with intraday at present but going for shares with minmal risk/reward ratio's setups on the charts
BHP will be great when its correction is done if its not done now
