List of bad polocies
1) The four pillar has handed the banks to much power. The Banks are making record profits, yet are able to remove jobs from Australian soil and ship them to over seas.
Solution.
Introduce Legislation that allows the 4 pillar polocy to become 6 or 8 pillar polocy. Allow the big Japanese banks into the mix. The threat of 1 and 2% interst rates should jolt the 4 banks rather quickly.
2) When Banks make huge profits the tax system should be scaled in such a way that it is in the banks interest to reinvest a least part of these profits into the Australian economy or their tax rate increased.
3)The Reserve Bank Board to be replaced with a mix of professional and elected members of the voting public. Make the board responsible for their actions and make their employment depend on it.
4)Polocies Should be based on fact and not a hypothesis.
Polocies that can change the economy, affect jobs and are based on questionable ideaology must be put to a vote or refrendum.
I would rather incure % cost now, than lose 100,000 jobs through stupidity.
