Wall Street closed lower yesterday: Friday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.1 per cent to close at 17,528,
the S&P 500 lost 0.2 per cent to close at 2,057
and the NASDAQ lost 0.15 per cent to close at 5,041.

European markets closed lower:
London’s FTSE was closed,
Paris lost 1.0 per cent
and Frankfurt lost 0.7 per cent.

Asian markets closed mixed:
Tokyo’s Nikkei added 0.6 per cent,
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng lost 1 per cent,
and China’s Shanghai Composite lost 2.6 per cent.

The Australian share market last traded 66 points higher at 5,208.

On the futures market the SPI is 56 points up.
