Interesting that nikon65 has not responded at all to this thread. Has that person got the dividend? What it nikon65 issue or Computershare? All share registries are maintained by 3rd parties (CPU, Link, Boardroom) so that companies can concentrate on running the business rather than spending time and effort managing the registry. In fact, it makes sense to get a 3rd party to do it - they use the one system and fully utilise their workforce, rather that all the ASX companies duplicating the same service. ANZ would have no one in their organisation that could answer a shareholder question on dividend payments. Only CPU can.
