i would question the morality of anz's involvement here. did anz understand what it was in fact getting involved with ? did anz question anything ? was it just another get rich quick on big returns v risk for it's own balance sheet with no morals attached ?
i've said far too many times that oz does not go far enough to control corporate con men. and this certainly is looking very much like one. no decent city man wuld get involved in such a scam as this knowing full well the risks involved with their clients money. don't expect the asx, asic or any other body to care going forward either. it'll happen again and again and again. sad.
