Maybe it is actually a good thing that there are still people who think that this is all woke window dressing and that coal is still an investment for the future. Someone has to get stuck with the asset - like the guys who were still running video rental stores in 2015. I really don't want to see industries collapse suddenly. Workers and genuine mum and dad investors need time to make the transition to new industries. Just maybe, we'll be hailing the deniers as real heroes for bearing the real cost of the transition.
