Serves me right. I had an offer near yesterday's low and did not budge. Now bought in at 23.20. Hence the expression- do not be a dick for a tick.
The difference between yesterday's price and today's would make a big difference in terms of taking advantage of a short term profit- if the background noise changes. The difference for a long term hold is probably less than material. Something like that.
Happy with this SP and its PE ratio etc. Banks may struggle for a little while. They will probably never again be the cash cows that they once were. The lines between business practice and crime are clearer now. But Australian banks should be worth owning. The regulations and framework are sound- not perfect- but sound.
