Also worth mentioning that like svb this bank primarily had venture capitalists as clients and also held a lot of it's assets in items that depreciated with rising interest rates. Basically it was a poorly run boat. Aussie banks will be fine for the same reason we will ride out recessions better than anyone like in 08
