I am not a close follower of AMP but did look with interest at the article in the AFR on Saturday regarding ANZ although any pending interest was 'sort of' denied in the article.
I suppose what pricked my interest was the $8.25 bid price which is a fair premium over and above the current SP.
I am interested if anybody has any views on this and whether this talk could drive uo the share price of AMP in the short term.
