what clients do not realise is that IMF and Slaters can do a separate deal with ANZ...outside a DOCA or general settlement. Because they will represent big slabs of potential damage claims (circa $100m each), confidential settlements are possible with ANZ/IMF/S+G. By going in late and small, you may miss out on this possibility.
Note IMFs recent settlement with Aristocrat for $40m...only clients with IMF will see this money. the others who did not join the litigation under IMF, are on their own...and have buckleys of getting anything
