I agree...Smith will be gone by the next AGM
One issue for settlement is CGT. By ANZ selling all the shares, CGT events have been triggerred on all client accts.
So who pays the tax...clients or ANZ?
The ATO have a special team on Opes...so CGT will be enforced on each account, where applicable
So add to my settlement options: Plus CGT costs payable to ATO
ANZ triggered the CGT event...so ANZ pay it
anz need to sort out opes asap to move forward, page-11
