OK, just called online and this is another way to do it which appears to work.
Go to Confirmations then click on Open Advanced Search in the left hand corner.
Ignore the first part where it says Account No, Account Name etc and scroll down to Date Range.
There's then a Timeframe OR Start Date/End Date. Putting in the dates you want appears to work.
