The single best barometer to tell if you will make a gain is not buying on known information like PE and Yield, it's by having unknown information go your way.
Look at SGH, STO, BHP, SBB to the left. All bought at nice known metrics, unknown information trumped them all.
So whether ANZ is a good buy won't be determined by PE, Yield or known information, but future unknowns.
What do you know about those unknowns that the opposing money doesn't.?
