Thanks for the post. It all depends on what price ANZ pays for the assets. I doubt they will pay anything through their nose for those assets, the price should build in any downside risk to those assets. And for RBS cash is king so it might be a win-win situation. Acquiring the assets fits in very well with their strategy of becoming a super regional bank in Asia.
Might buy a few more Monday at the right price.
