Seems that ASIC's request to the big four to reduce trading volumes by 25% is to prevent these issues from Friday recurring. So it seems like the reason for the failure is because the big banks are doing high speed trading. ANZ's traded too much - so we couldnt! Im looking forward to a good explanation from them too! After holding BBOZ into the rally because they could not execute, nor would they let me cancel... I read that CMC had issues too, and the ANZ Pro share trading app is from CMC.
