I would be trying to get out first, with some capital gain if possible after the SP recovered from the current ex dividend date, but then usually a month before the next ex divi date look for another entry so there is time for the share price to increase before the next ex date, the price may be such that when the price drops on the next ex date you may not lose too much in share price and then another fortnight or so and the price may have recovered, so that you might want to get out and buy elsewhere to get another divi, it is never going to work out perfectly. If the price doesn't recover before the next ex date I would leave it in and try again next time,( its my opinion it usually will recover before the next ex date ) as far as what would be another good entry price it depends on what sort of yield you are going to get on the price, if for some reason the price was exceptionally high then I might not buy in at all. If you are just looking to get a position now is probably as cheap as you will get, unless some sort of crisis occurs before the next ex divi date.
You need to determine what you are trying to achieve, the banks are usually always going to be part of a good investment strategy, and ANZ seems to be be one of the best of the top four, just my opinion though, compare it with the other banks and see for your self.
