ANZ are horrendous when it comes to security related issues
They locked my own account for standard use of my account & I had to wait on a call for 3 hours to find out why, in the end they had someone off shore telling me it was "malware" & that phishing had been detected, something they literally cannot detect unless they have access to my devices. I had to speak to 4 people to press harder & find out what they saw that they thought was phishing.. I had bought a coffee & transferred money to another account of mine which I've used and transferred funds to for years.
I was actually really shocked by how incompetent ANZ are & how bad the whole situation was
If they are that way when there is no security incident, then when there is a real security incident, it's going to be very bad for whoever is impacted.
