Coming to an agreement on the hybrids is a red herring - it will not restore profitability to PPX in and of itself. If PPX can't make money borrowing from me for free, how does forgiving the loan solve the problem?
If the hybrids are acting as a deterrent to a possible recapitalization of the business, then let's see a proposal to do that and we can make a decision based on the merits of the proposal.
