That's awesome. Where abouts ? Did you pick the language up ? I am half Indian with an Australian born father. Also went to school in India and have traveled many of times. Although, I have not been since 2006.. So it has been a while. Finally going back this October.

Regarding ANZ, in my opinion, with interest rates so low and possibly going into negative territory, how will the banks make good money ? Also, people were freaking out that banks would have to cut some bad debts with the commodity bust.

The lending restrictions probably doesn't help much either. Also, remember when the Asian markets were tanking ? That did not help either. Still a lot of chatter that Australians are very much indebted , including China. I feel ANZ is a good buy. If not, we'll set the DRP and continue to buy during the different cycles. ANZ will be around for another 100 years, can't say the same about the other half of the companies listed on the sock market :>.
