AOC have stated in there January presentation that the drilling will start in the later half of 2010, nothing has changed in that regard , but PL did mention that all is ready to mobilize in April at the EGM. My take on this would be that because of the obviouse security risks that if AOC were to state that they will have rigs and associated drilling equipment landing in Basasoa in April they might be met with some resistence, it is only speculation but given the delicate enviroment they would have there own security plan in place, and who knows one day AOC will update there presentation and programme and state that they are on the ground and rig in place. I think it makes sence that given the nature of what everyone is trying to achieve and the money that has been invested you wouldnt be to forth coming with your intentions.
