The recent talk over the bid by AUT on EKA may spur more M&A activities in this area.EKA has leases in an area which is of interest to AUT. Likewise AOK has leases in an area which also is of interest to RFE. RFE is on its own and already have a few successful horizontals on its own. AOK on the otherhand is venturing into this area of late but has already assembled quite an interesting lots. There is not much awareness of AOK's activities and they moved very slowly in relative to other companies that have taste success, like RFE and AUT.AOK tends to look for joint ventures thus sharing their on findingds and assets with successful companies which will deal out the capital for a share of the success.Knowing the area well are such companies like Range resources and RFE along with some bigger oil companies.Sooner or later some of the comapnies will realise the undervalue assets of AOK and may probasbly made a bid for the whole company thus become direct owners instead of being a participant in smaller joint ventures with AOK.DYOR/IMHO just a thought, perhaps binbin and others may like to comment on this prospect of AOK being a target for a larger oily.
