you mentioned RFE in a "possible" takeover of AOK, i just dont see that happening.

AUT if far more advanced than RFE and dont have access to credit facilities that would make this a viable prospect.

RFE are currently trying to increase their acres from ongoing leasing and also picking up more acres via pooling of current leases but to take over another company is out of the question imho. RFE have plenty of cash but in the current market they would be far better off to stick with there current strategy of slowly increasing their acres and increasing drilling and proving up some of their existing acres for the purpose of improving reserves.

of course, this doesnt mean that AOK may not have interest from bigger cash rich companies like Range Resources.
