The way things are going, there won't be an offer. Placer Dome is sinking bad, from $14.27 the day the offer was made to $11.93 as of last nights close. thats over 15% and POG has only retraced about 3% from its recent highs. Obviously there is more to Placer price going down, but being a script bid for AOR, doesn't actually encourage AOR shareholders to accept the bid now does it. Back to $3.48???????? Who knows??
