Does anyone have any insight into how the sp will fare if the APA bid for Qantas fails. Huntleys are suggesting the bid may well proceed but may not necessarily succeed. On that basis (plus debt to equity ratios etc) they are suggesting holders of QAN are not for the conservative and should sell. Obviously the sp of QAN will fall severely if the bid fails but what about AFG.
