REIT's are paying over 7% as well, but they don't have the regulatory risk. Activists targeting gas pipelines and all that rubbish plus Fundies trying to stay out of fossil fuels reduces buying demand. I know APA are investing in clean energy transmission so that's reassuring as is the fact that the dividend is well covered by cash flow according to management (for now).
