I have to say I don't agree with your comments, (but everyone is entilted to their opinion) The global LNG market is projected to exceed US$200 billion by 2030. As coal is phased out LNG will power the transition well into the next 25 years.

Wind and solar are not the answer to major power generation, the solar panels on a house in melbourne or Adelaide cannot meet the heating demands on a cold winters day for extended periods.

Also take into account that APA is a hedge against inflation, that is too say when their costs rise they raise their prices (similar to Telstra) you either pay or you get disconnected, which explains the dividened chart below (I challenge you to find a better one).

Another point is Hydrogen is only just starting to gain momentum, when seroius suppliers start analysing how they will transport Hydrogen from point A to point B naturally APA will get a large slice of that, and this planning will be well ahead of production, so we'll see these deals taking place on a more regular basis over the next 5 years.

I'm not hoping for a handout from the government, I'm just saying that APA is well placed for some of this money to flow their way, the government will 100% assist companies like APA to make the transition, because they cannot let infrastructure fail.
The inflow from coal energy to gas energy will have a major impact on APA's bottom line, and this inflow of extra cash will assit them even further with their transition.
Who will be the energy titans of Australia over the next two decades? will it be comapanies starting from scratch, or will it be comapnies that already have a foothold with asstes that will generate ever growing cash?
