    "How did you choose the companies in your portfolio"


    Just buy the best companies.
    Many positions over 20 years old (BHP, WDC, WES, WPL, NAB etc)
    Done OK.
    Returns in the 2,000% to 10,000% region in some cases.
    Even my newer stuff (CBA, WOW, CSL etc) are not too bad.

    I dont do much. Just let those guys run the companies and I just collect my share of the profits.
