And yet, there are strategists cottoning on to increasing immigration to help alleviate the time bomb of aging demographics. To increase immigration they propose to increase housing completions. With "green fields" land in short supply in Sydney, the obvious alternative is "brown fields" redevelopment of former industrial or other lands which means increased density housing options, which means apartments. That means apartments and more likely a decade of low price growth than a crash imo.
