as a melbournian with a young family, i would have no issue moving to Noosa. I have stayed in Noosa heads, noosaville and noosa waters and enjoyed our stay every time without a hitch.
if you want to talk about gangs and bikies come to melbourne....there are plenty of them...they certainly havent caused any massive price drops in the melbourne real estate market.
Paying $36 for a pasta in hasting street is the only problem i have with Noosa.
