I'm not entirely sure if APE covers MG for example, but a friend recently bought one of the (Chinese SAIC owned and made) electric MG and throughout the who process wasn't given any due date. Not even an indication as to when it might arrive when he over time checked back in. Sounds like the dealership simply didn't know.
My assumption is that this might be unique to some brands.
