Where did you get that there will be no trial plant ?
The last i heard, the Indian Federal Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), will not approve a full scale plant until the ERMS/EARS technology is commercially proven. (and even still APG/TOR's first application with the proposal of a trial plant in Orissa was rejected).
Either way, construction of a plant in the Murray Basin will be dependant on securing a long term supply of suitable feedstock, which is obviously yet to happen.
I must say, not too much substance in todays announcement, it certainly didn't leave me with any new found confidence.
