    Sigma chief executive Elmo de Alwis said the company had become less interested in last year's takeover target, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, after taking about 100 pharmacies from its troubled rival.

    "Every time we get business from them, it reduces the traction, the upside of doing a purchase," Mr de Alwis said.
